Dave opened Petersen’s Carpet & Flooring in 1983 with the belief that excellent customer service, integrity and value are worthwhile goals. He believes that even more today. Prior to opening the business, Dave was a flooring installer for years. His installation experience guides him in problem solving unique and out of the ordinary installation requests and unforeseen problems that occasionally present themselves on jobs. You can often find Dave inspecting jobs prior to, during and post installation to ensure they are up to Petersen’s high standards.
Gayle considers herself one of the luckiest women alive to be able to love what she does every day! Helping people create beautiful spaces! When she’s not working hard for you at Petersen’s, you can find her zenning out in her garden!
Owner/Director of Finance/Accounts Receivable
Stewart joined the Petersen’s team in May of 2004, bringing over 20 years of business and finance expertise. He felt so strongly about the strength, integrity and philosophy of the business that he became an owner in October of 2013. If you call the office and can’t reach Stewart, you’ll probably find him tee-ing off at a local green!
Teresa has 30 years of sales experience. Teresa has been with Petersen’s since 2008 and has been a strong fixture ever since. She is in charge of our insurance claims division and helps customers to quickly and efficiently restore their homes back to beautiful in the event of insurance claims. If you are trying to fix up your home for rental or sale, she is full of great, economical ideas. Her saying is “if you listen to the need, you can fill it properly.” Teresa is the proud Mom of college age twin girls and enjoys spending time with her dogs.
Hazel is our showroom assistant extraordinaire! She joined Petersen’s in 2016 with 5 years of flooring experience with an additional 4 years foundation of experience in home decor/paint. She assists with administrative tasks and by supporting our sales team.
Carrie has many years of customer service experience. She has the desire to serve all customers to ensure that they have the utmost positive experience. Carrie has been with Petersen’s since 2011, serving as our leader of operations. You can always find her on the phone, scheduling jobs, coordinating installation crews and deliveries and sometimes even driving the forklift! Carrie is a proud and doting grandmother to FIVE grandchildren!
Assistant Sales Manager
Sarah has 21 years of flooring experience. She joined Petersen’s team in 2008 as a part time assistant. Over the last decade, her role with Petersen’s has grown to include sales and operations support, marketing and most importantly, her position as Assistant Sales Manager. Sarah strives to ensure that all Petersen’s customers have a stellar experience from beginning to end. Sarah is the mother of two boys and spends her free time serving as board chair for a local 501c3, The Birthing Circle.
Chris has been in management positions for the last 20 years. His desire to work for the best companies and with great co-workers made choosing to come on board with Petersen’s an easy decision. Chris is our newest employee; he joined our team as warehouse manager in the summer of 2014. He keeps us organized, receives deliveries and most importantly, ensures that our crews have all the materials they need each morning before heading out to installations. Outside of work, Chris is a busy father and grandfather who enjoys spending time with his family.
Petersen’s installation team is second to none! Our installers are highly trained craftsman who will leave you with a beautifully installed new floor. At Petersen’s we have both in house crews as well as sub-contractors. Our installers, even the sub-contractors, have been working for Petersen’s for years. We couldn’t be more proud of the amazing work they do for us every day.
